About
Charlie writes shooters for Windows and Mac OS X (and sometimes Linux), some of which he sells on this site, and others like Steam, Direct2Drive, Ignition, Reflexive/Amazon etc. Currently you can find the original Bullet Candy, it’s 3D remixed update Bullet Candy Perfect and Space Phallus on this site, you should give them a try, they’re fun!
Charlie lives in the UK and works mostly on his own making games on his old PC and even older Mac. One day hopes to be able to buy some new ones.

Hey this is one of the funniest and best games ever made, what other games have you made?

I love to see these Robotronesque types of games still being made. Can’t wait to try out Bullet Candy and Bullet Candy Perfect that I just purchased. I’m always looking for similar but new approaches to the 2 joystick mayhem that these games provide. Guys like you and Eugene Jarvis are the tops.
BTW, what are you coding these games in. I’d love to try creating a similar game one day. Not even for the sake of profit, but just for the fun of it.
Cheers

Marc,
I tried lots of languages, but in the end settled on Blitzmax. It’s just about quick enough and is really quick to get ideas working.
Hope you enjoy the games
Cheers

this may sound odd but it is nice to see someone making shmups in a language I understand(i.e. not Japanese).
